1960's

For our CCS Class (contemporary contextual studies) we were split up into groups to do presentations, we were each assigned a different decade to research. I was so relieved to find that we had been assigned the swinging 60's, one of the more exciting and fashion forward eras. I've been given woman's fashion to research, and my Auntie Linda helped out by sending some of her photo's from the 60's

My Auntie Linda with one of her friends, Grace, they both have short hemlines, which were brought about by Mary Quant, who invented the Mini.

(1969)
Cooking spaghetti with her Mum, wearing white Go-Go boots, the term ''go'' meant ''all the rage'' they became popular in the 60's and remained that way into the 70's.
