Just a few illustrations from class. So far it's been really enjoyable, we've been put into groups and take it in turns posing while the others sketch.

Anthropologie
Over the weekend when I was in Edinburgh, I went into Anthropologie for a browse. It's a bit like Urban Outfitters but for an older age range with furniture as well as clothes. The clothes did not really excite me but the displays were absolutely brilliant, I managed to snap this photo of a bedroom display while no one noticed and the rest of the images I found online. Unfortunately though everything is out of my price range.

LookBook.nu
If you are ever looking for a specific style this is the place to go,
You can search by brand, country or garment and will get loads of results, you can also post your own look and add to the collection of photos. These are a few of my favorites.

I am in love with a new app for the iphone, it's called instagram which lets you put different filters on your photos. My user name is aimeesophiea and you can follow people on it and 'like' their uploaded photos. Here's the first few photos I took around my room in the flat.

Campfires in Winter
Just thought I would post some of my finished articles I wrote for Uni. The first is on Flat 0/1, a bar in Glasgow and the second is on the band 'Campfires in Winter'. These articles went towards a website we created in groups, enjoy.

Lomography
So I felt it was time to invest in a new camera, and i've always been interested in analog cameras. While searching these on the internet the term 'Lomography camera' kept coming up. I'm still not exactly sure what it means but I got this meaning below off the official website...
A Lomograph holds a charm all of its own. Somehow, everything is amplified, making ordinary objects stand out, enhancing details that would normally go unnoticed. Characterised by ever-changing variables such as the mysterious vignettes that frame the shot, light leaks, lo-fi grain, beautiful blurs, the magical balance of contrast and saturation … just to name a few.
A combination these factors and a healthy touch of the unexpected go into making each Lomograph unique. Essentially, Lomography embraces the element of surprise that only analogue film photography can bring and wholeheartedly celebrates the outcome.
Experiment with different kinds of films, and try different tips and techniques, such as cross-processing (x-pro) – it works well with Lomographic cameras!
